- the Carers Direct helpline on 0300 123 1053 (open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday)
- Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Connect support line on 0333 150 3456 (national call rate – open 9am to 8pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 5pm on Thursday and Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday)
- Dementia UK's free Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline on 0800 888 6678, which is staffed by registered nurses and dementia experts (open 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday), or email helpline@dementiauk.org
