Who can take beclometasone tablets
Most adults aged 18 years and over can take beclometasone tablets.
Who may not be able to take beclometasone tablets
Beclometasone tablets are not suitable for some people. To make sure they're safe for you, tell a pharmacist or doctor before taking them if you have:
- ever had an allergic reaction to beclometasone or any other medicine
- a stomach ulcer
- liver or kidney problems
- tuberculosis (TB)
- diabetes
- high blood pressure (hypertension)
- osteoporosis
- Addison's disease, a hormone imbalance that causes weakness, weight loss and low blood pressure
- glaucoma
- a bowel infection
Also tell your doctor if you're trying to get pregnant, are already pregnant or you're breastfeeding.
