Cautions with other medicines

There are some medicines that do not mix well with bimatoprost and can affect how well it works.

Tell your doctor if you're using eye drops that work in a similar way to bimatoprost including:

• latanoprost
• tafluprost
• travoprost

If you use 2 of these medicines (including bimatoprost) together this can reduce how well they both work. This means the pressure in your eye might increase.

Mixing bimatoprost with herbal remedies or supplements

There's not enough information to say that complementary medicines and herbal remedies are safe to take with bimatoprost. They're not tested in the same way as pharmacy and prescription medicines. They're generally not tested for the effect they have on other medicines.
