Clotrimazole for thrush and breastfeeding
It’s OK to use clotrimazole pessaries and internal and external creams while you’re breastfeeding. It's very unlikely that any will get into your breast milk.
When using clotrimazole for thrush products, wash your hands after you have used them, and before picking up your baby.
If you have any other concerns about your baby, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, health visitor or midwife
Clotrimazole and fertility
There is no evidence that clotrimazole for thrush affects fertility in men or women.
