can,t not fault this surgery or the manager i hate going doctor,s at the best of times but the last 7 weeks i had an propblem and the doctor that was dealing with it could not fault her care and compassion to help and get to the bottom of it she went ubove and behoned to see what is causing my issues took a few weeks but nothing was to much trouble and i was booked in for a phone call for 4.07pm never got call the so though oh well they call the next day she called me the same day at 7.15pm i was shocked as doctors shut at 6 this just goes to show what kind of doctors are at st neots surgery they really do care about their paitence.. they have famliy and home,s to go too i would never change my gps surgery i would 100% recommed doing the econsult,s too they get hold of you the same day to tell you the best plan of action they do it to high needs to low needs so based of that but i would always do it at 8.30 as after 11am u can,t get on it witch is a shame but hey ho and was actully nice to see my own doctor few weeks back top doctor their doing a fantasic job 👍😊

Review titled Love fobbing people off
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Derri - Posted on 05 April 2025
I put in a prescription request 01/04/2025 for my usual dose of venlafaxine and to also change pharmacies. Usually it’s approved straight away but this time come Friday it’s still showing ‘undetermined’ but my pharmacy has been approved which means someone has obviously looked into it. I call up to say I need a prescription as I had no more tablets for that evening, which I was told I’d have to wait until the weekend to call 111 and request emergency prescription. How does this make any sense? Pharmacies were still open I could have easily made it in time to pick some up. If anyone knows the drug venlafaxine they will know the horrendous side effects you get if you miss just one dose. I’ve woken up today sleeping 11 hours feeling sick, dizzy, headaches etc, not to mention I’m also pregnant which is hard enough, how am I in any state to drive now and get medication??? Constantly fobbed off from this GP and the person on the phone didn’t even take my details to look into it, could have been a system error but as usual just sticking to the script and there’s no care or compassion at all. Can see why people don’t bother calling up anymore!

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Suffering with flu and sinusitis over Christmas and New Year I spoke with a Dr who prescribed strong antibiotics which has really helped and after 5 days I feel so much better. It really makes a difference when people listen and help.

Review titled Control of bood pressure
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 August 2024
I was due to have an injection in my eye on 26/7/2024. Due to high blood pressure this was not possible and was suggested I see a doctor about it. I went to the surgery and spoke to the most rude and arrogant receptionist who would not refer me for an appointment unless I could prove I was worthy. I explained to her, sometimes not using nice language that I could go blind in my right eye unless I could control my blood pressure. The receptionist would not move. This is not a good omen if the receptionist can decide if someone continues to be able to see. Sack this person and hire someone who cares for the patient because she doesn't.

Review titled Good service

I normally struggle to get hold of someone at this surgery but when I eventually convinced someone to contact me the service was professional and excellent. Getting in touch with someone is extremely poor and needs sorting out

Review titled Amazing professional team
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lesley Baker - Posted on 01 May 2024
We joined this practice after having years of awful practice in the last doctors which is a group. Upon joining every nurse, doctor, receptionist has been so lovely. I've only met two doctors and both of them are exemplary in there bedside manner. There was no rushing to get you out of the door, listened to what I said whilst there, it's just so refreshing nowadays. A friend of mine said that a particular doctor was her mums GP and said how lovely he is and she wasn't wrong. The receptionist actually are all lovely and quite often share a joke either on the phone or in person. Well done everyone and thankyou which I can't put in capitals but it's not allowed on the review!

Review titled Everyones a critic
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mike.P - Posted on 27 February 2024
People these days seem to be more than happy to take the time to complain about things. Unfortunately not many of us like to give praise when praise is due. With regards to St Neots surgery , my experience from booking in at reception with the friendly ladies to dealing with the very professional doctors. My illness was a sensitive one and I was never at any point made to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Thanks to the whole team for your services.
