    Today I had my teenager son take full anaesthesia for a corrective surgery on his feet. It was a complicated fracture at articulation point. I think the attending main/lead surgeon along with his Co-surgeons did a fantastic job start to finish and in recovery. I wish I could name them all.10 on 10 and this also goes to the day care nurses who took such wonderful care. I was initially nervous but now I now there is the best of the best in here. Never mind the wait that I had to take for a day. God bless you all. Proud of you. Five stars all the way!!

    I just wanted to leave a note to say how impressed I was with the walk-in team doing the blood tests today. I was there in the afternoon and expected to be waiting a while as it was a walk-in clinic, but I was seen within a few minutes! The nurse was really friendly too, after what must have been a long, busy day taking one blood sample after another in a tiny windowless room. I’m so grateful to have the NHS and the wonderful people who work there.

    I had heart surgery in March 2023. All seemed fine before my operation. The care I received in, ICU and HDU was amazing, it wasn't until I got back on the ward that things went down hill. I needed help with personal care, having asked over and over again, until eventually someone helped me. There were times I asked for help was asked by one health care assistant, can't you do it yourself. I found it difficult to relax, couldn't sleep at night, if it wasn't for me ringing for assistance, no one would check on me. I explained that I felt quite unwell, but felt that no one belived me, until I had a funny turn on the, 7/6/2023. I had to get myself in and out of bed, was given no real after care advice. Was sent home a very vulnerable, scared patient.

    Was delighted with my vist. Cleanliness fantastic Virtually seen immediately no hanging about . Staff were polite and helpful. Clinical practitioner was professional insightful regarding my questions. Please commend all the staff for running an excellent department. your hard work and commitment is gratefully received.     Blood test taken on a 5 year old girl following surgery for a burst appendix at 19:30 and at 22:30 the nurse kept saying that they are waiting for the results. I had to ring switch board to put me through the lab . Where they said that they have not yet received the blood sample. Spoke to the nurse and her response was make a complaint. After chasing it speaking to the coordinator and ringing the lab. At 22:45 they confirm that they have just received the blood sample.

It is most disappointing to read your experience; what you have described has fallen below the standard we aspire to here at Barts Health NHS Trust. Being informed to make a complaint clearly was not the best or quickest way forward in this circumstance, especially when a child is awaiting vital results to support their continued care.     Royal London Hospital has four lifts to get onto the upper floors. In the past two weeks while visiting a patient on the 13th floor, the lifts to any floor above 11 say "landing is locked" Hard luck if you're disabled or can't walk up stairs. Yesterday 06 October there was only one lift working. The lobby was full and people were in the corridor waiting to get to the lift. There was a notice on one floor that said the problem had been identified on 31 August. Why has it taken so long for whoever is responsible for building maintenance to get the problem resolved. It took me an hour to get to the 13th floor. If this had been an emergency, what then?? Also, why are there no clear signs as to where the stairs are. If people had to get out of the building fast, what then ?? Very modern hospital with lovely staff but no point of call for this kind of problem

    Has a phone appointment which consultant was very cold and told me twice he had other patients to call while I was telling him he had rang me with wrong details? Didn’t want to listen at all.. Had waited 3 years for this call after being discharged from hospital with no check up since that. Letter said calls can last up to 30 mins he gave me 7 mins,then rang off. Left me feeling very upset and frustrated at his cold inconsiderate manner.

    I've been sent from my midwife appt to get a blood test done. I've checked in and been waiting over an hour and a half to get a blood test done, to be told there's still quite a few people waiting to be seen. This is the 2nd time now I've experienced the same thing, something needs to change.
