  1. Review titled Great practice and very friendly staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had to stay the night in the practice after waiting back some test results and every staff member was extremely helpful, meeting any specific need that I had. I would highly recommend this practice for anyone and am very grateful for the treatment and help that I received here.

  2. Review titled Amazing Care from Dorcus Surgical Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently underwent surgery. The whole of the Thoracic Team, from the surgeons, nurses, physio therapist , cleaners and catering staff were amazing. I felt safe and taken care of during what was an anxious time. I cannot thank them enough.

  3. Review titled Turned away from Urgent Care 2 hours before closing

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Dr. Samantha Stancu - Posted on 22 May 2023

I was referred to Guy’s Urgent Care Centre by NHS 111 and advised to attend before 19:00. Upon arrival at 17:18, the triage nurse told me I won’t be able to be seen and recommended I attend A&E at St. Thomas’s Hospital. I advised her that wouldn’t be possible since I have an 8 month old baby who I am breastfeeding. It was a horrible experience and waste of time.

  4. Review titled No communication

Rated 1 star out of 5

Waiting to be seen- no confirmation I am even in the list and no replies to any enquiry or idea of wait time. Phone staff seem to have no idea what is going on. Very worrying and stressful experience.

  5. Review titled When trying to ring they hang up before answering.

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 March 2023

tried 5 times to ring the main phone number for blood tests and they kept hanging up without speaking or answering the phone. I feel very upset and disappointed with this. The phone number I used was 0208 194 7490. Extremely sad and upset. All I wanted to ask was if it was okay to walk in for blood test. Simple query.

  6. Review titled Exemplary Care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Came into A and E with my 2 year old, the staff were outstanding and gave us so much due care and attention. Each one was so careful to make my son feel at ease and treated him with such patience and kindness. We had to wait a while but I understood we weren't high risk and we got updates from everyone. All the tests and procedures were carried out in good time and we felt beautifully taken care of. I am very grateful to the staff there that treated us but I also saw the cleaner going round the children's A and E area doing a fantastic job too. Thank you

  7. Review titled Awful experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 February 2023

I had an operation on my eye at st Thomas and all went well. Others were not so lucky and been waiting weeks to have theirs and it kept getting cancelled at the last minute. After the operation I was given a follow up appointment at another hospital over two hours from where I live. Traveled there to be told I was sent by mistake and should have been seen by my surgeons. It is absolutely impossible to get in contact with anyone who can help.

  9. Review titled Fantastic treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 November 2022

I have nothing but praise for the thoracic surgery team and nursing support. The work of the surgeons, invisible though it is, and the compassionate support of the nursing, physio, cleaning and catering teams made my surgery and initial recovery a very positive experience. Cleanliness was paramount, with floors washed and beds changed every day - very different from my local hospital. Strong, effective management clearly enables all the staff here to do their best work here. I hope not to have to go back, but if I need any further treatment it will be well worth travelling to Guys, which really is excellent.
