iv e recently been in A&E St james hospital then in ward 19 Gledhow wing the care i received was wonderful and the staff were amazing so caring and friendly and approachable i would like to thank all the staff for what they did for me foe my short stay.

today, I reieved a text informing that I had been placed on a waiting list and that I would be contacted shortly by phone call by them to arrange appointment. I'm hard of hearing and don't like phone calls. A text message with hyperlinks for choice a, B, or c for the appointment options available, where you touch option of choice which imforms them producing a text back. Alternatively can referral communications be done through the current NHS app using patient log in which I use. NHS noreply texts could direct people to log in to NHS website or app and go to appointments and referrals.

After appalling and upsetting treatment I tried to ask for help in preventing this from happening to anyone else only to be told that service and PALs were too busy to talk to, read emails or otherwise engage with anyone. Obviously the only way left is the media.
