  1. Review titled Marvellous experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Was a visit for a Colonoscopy and was extremely happy with the treatment I received. All staff were great explaining everything and answering all my questions. All staff were friendly and helpful.

  2. Review titled Cardiology

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by NICOLA JAYNE JANES - Posted on 11 July 2024

On several occasions, I found it extremely difficult to get in touch with the cardiology team. Phone calls are often unanswered, and messages left with receptionists were not returned promptly, if at all. This makes it nearly impossible to get clarification on important health matters. The team of staff I have found incredible when I have had treatment but the communication is woeful. Even communicating via PALS makes no difference.

  3. Review titled Quick surgery, great care and service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Maria Bouras - Posted on 06 June 2024

I had cataract surgery and the nurses, Drs and surgeons were very thorough, and looked after me very well after surgery. Nurses did so much for me and I want to share my gratitude to everyone in the ward.

  4. Review titled Incompetent and dishonest

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by R A - Posted on 01 May 2024

Came to hospital for urgent care due to chest pain. Ecg bloods taken and then sent to main waiting area to be seen by a dr. Several hours later, after enquiring, told that dr had called out and also telephoned but did not get a response, and I was marked as dna. Had to restart the whole process again, effectively meaning I was at the hospital for 12 hours, wasting hospital time and resources as well as my own time and racking up my parking charges.

  5. Review titled Children A&E is a shame

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 March 2024

I have to be 3 times in A&E to get my daughter admitted (Finally) and they can see that she was extremely bad with infection and risk of apendicitis. The first times was so easy for them say: give her mint tea to release her pain and second time another no professional advice. After that everything go “smoothly” but honestly they are gonna put your kid on limit and then they do something. Parents be careful and put pressure for your kids. Some staff there are angels and very professional and other they are to do nothing and get pay. The end of this history is they left me any tear inside of my eyes.

  6. Review titled Failed bureaucracy

by Elizabeth M Sharp - Posted on 21 February 2024

I received a text informing me of the date and time of a blood test which is to take place on the 26th Feb. Unfortunately this text has nothing to do with me. I phoned the surgery and was given another number to phone which dealt with blood tests. I waited 15 minutes listening to dreadful music only to be told that even though I provided them with the date, and time of the test, they couldn't get in contact with the actual patient as I couldn't provide them with a patient number. The patient will therefore not know he / she has a blood test appointment and I was told to ignore the text message. In the year 2024 it seems ridiculous that it is impossible to match up an appointment time and date with an actual patient. This planet won't die as a result of environmental problems, it will die because of bureaucracy and ridiculous rules that bind organisations into inaction.

  7. Review titled very good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Faiza Boota - Posted on 29 August 2023

my mum had radiotherapy for 6 weeks. Though it has been a difficult journey for her, every single member of staff has been very courteous and kind. they have always answered any questions that we had without making us feel that any question was silly and we never felt rushed. They actually felt like family. Can't praise them enough. Thankyou for everything.

  8. Review titled Awful department

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Irene Tudor - Posted on 30 March 2023

was first time to Gynaecology Dept on16 September 2021 for consultation and the consultant told me , she will booking a test urodynamic studies with a specialist doctor. After a lot of appointments with this doctor who cancelled all my appointments (I didn’t meet him never although a year has passed from first my appointment with him) , today 30 March my appointment for this test was cancelled. it is unacceptable that in a one year and 8 months that have passed since my first appointment at this hospital I cannot have access to this test which is vital for me and that this doctor cancelled all my consultations with him . On 24 April I will have an appointment with him to discuss about the results test, but because the test was cancelled I am sure that appointment will be also cancelled. I am so disappointed about that situation when a doctor plays and takes decisions for our life

  9. Review titled Wonderful staff at Breast Clinic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mariela - Posted on 21 March 2023

Since the moment I've been diagnosed with breast cancer, during my operation and follow up meeting, I have met wonderful people and great professionalism! They're kind and caring, helpful and understanding. As my treatments are not over yet, I remain calm as I know I'm in good, caring hands. Thank you so much!

  10. Review titled Cardiology does not exist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 February 2023

I’ve been waiting for an appointment since December 2022 and my letter says to wait until 3rd Feb 2023 to contact cardiology if I have not received an appointment. I have been calling the number on the letter for over a week now and no one answers the phone, so I can’t get an appointment! Service is a shambles!! What is going on??
