Review titled Very poor care at Urology. Avoid this hospital at any cost
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Alfonso - Posted on 02 December 2024
I was diagnosed with bladder cancer at the North Middlesex Hospital after a long and very stressful process lasting over 6 months. During this time, everything from administration to level of medical care and staff attitude was ranging from poor to unacceptable. I have a long list of misadventures to justify my rating including long waiting times, nurses forgetting their duties or shouting at patients and doctors providing shabby and rushed consultations with inconsistent and incorrect opinions on disease and treatment options. Fortunately, for treatment I was able to be referred to the University College London Hospital, which is an excellent hospital, a world apart from the North Middlesex Hospital. If you have any urological issue, please avoid this hospital, as they could make your physical and mental health worse instead of improving it.

Review titled Excellent care
Rated 4 stars out of 5

My son was rushed to North Middlesex Hospital in December 2022 as he was having a massive asthma attack. Due to the severity of his attack, my son was seen within 10 minutes and taken into A&E and given excellent care by the nurses and 2 doctors on duty. My son was eventually transferred to the paediatric ward, where he spent 3 nights receiving wonderful care by the hospital staff. I have nothing but utter praise and thanks to all the staff that worked over the Christmas period and assisted in helping my son to recover.

Thank you for taking time to feedback about the care your son received, it means a lot to our hard working staff to hear such positive comments. I hope you son has recovered fully and is doing well. Kind regards, Dr Charlotte Clements Consultant - Paediatric Emergency Medicine
