Review titled Excellent (non-maternity) adult ultrasound appointment
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 October 2024
As a Neurodivergent adult I was anxious about attending my recent (non-maternity) adult ultrasound appoint. I had been needlessly concerned about this as: the Clinician was welcoming, kindly and explained everything really well (giving me time to comfortably participate as necessary). The Clinician addressed my questions brilliantly. I usually struggle to successfully access Healthcare - however, the Clinician put me at my ease (thereby, enabling me to process the new information and participate fully). I think it was the first Healthcare appointment (in many decades) where I left the appointment: confident and informed (as opposed to the more commonplace frustrated and anxious. Thank you ever so much for your caring support.

Review titled Wonderful hospital
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Margaret - Posted on 27 August 2024
Having never been in hospital in all of my 87 years, I was rather apprehensive of how things would be. Of course I need not have had any worries at all because everyone was really marvellous and could not do enough to help me when I had my Tavi procedure. The team operating were very kind and made me feel comfortable and when I was back on the ward all the nurses and other staff were so kind and caring. But, everyone was lovely and the King could not have been better treated. I am very grateful and thank them all so much for the extra life I shall have.

Review titled Fantastic clinicians Oxford Eye Hospital
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had an appointment at The Oxford Eye Hospital today & had a fantastic experience with both the nurse & consultant who went the extra mile to explain my upcoming procedure. They were both friendly, professional & accommodating and an absolute credit to the hospital. It’s a shame you cannot name individuals, hopefully they will know who they are. Thank you so much.

Review titled Exceptional Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Karen Gent - Posted on 08 May 2023
I arrived at A and E with my 17 year old daughter who is suffering with chronic OCD. We were greeted by a helpful receptionist that collected our details and directed us to the appropriate waiting area. We arrived at around 9.30am and came into contact with around 6 members of nursing/medical staff from A and E and the mental health team. Every single team member treated us as if we were the first patient they had seen that day, listened to the issues and provided advice and guidance. We were provided with an exceptional service at all times from every member of staff that we engaged with. One of the Dr's even brought my daughter a sandwich as we were there over lunch time! We really appreciated the care and thoughtfulness of all of the staff working in A and E and are extremely thankful.

Review titled Superb care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sarah R - Posted on 10 May 2023
I fractured my ankle and the care and support I received from your trust was superb and far more than I expected! From the lovely people at the minor injuries unit to the cheerful chap in the trauma clinic, I will well treated and support. I then received ongoing physiotherapy (which I hadn't expected) until I was 100% back to normal function. For a minor fracture, the care was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. I was very impressed by the caliber, friendliness, professionalism and thorough attitude of all the staff I came into contact with. Thank you very much for delivering such excellent care when going through difficult times. It has made all the difference.
