visited today because of a severe bleed on the gums- would like to thank the staff at both Shrewsbury and Telford- got seen quickly -yes i had to visit both hospitals -overall very impressed with the help i got -thank you! and nice of the cafe at Shrewsbury to take cash rather than card only- and thanx to the lady's serving for offering me glass of water-great service-again thank you {:

I had a problem with concessionary car parking at RSH, I went to the car parking hut and a young car park attendant sorted out my problem for the day and advised me to contact the site manager for further information, who was also extremely helpful. My son came to visit his father later in the day and could not find a parking space but was again treated with excellent customer service. I can see it’s a difficult time for all at RSH but the upheaval will be worth it. Well done to all the parking attendants.

My daughter attended the new elective surgery hub and was the most nervous anxious teen ever! Every single staff member cared and took time to try and help her. All the nursing staff, consultants, surgeons and anaesthetist all showed great compassion and did their best to help her. The surgeon was very thorough in his checks about what was going to be done and took extra time to confirm the exact plan following a little confusion initially. The whole unit/hub was absolutely immaculate!! Thank you also to the recovery team for supporting me when I felt unwell. My daughter was given all the time she needed to feel well before leaving, we were not rushed out. On entering the room to be put asleep one part of the paper work checks was missing and the lady in charge correctly ensured that was completed before starting and wouldn’t start until it had been done. I underwent cataract removal surgery recently. The whole experience from check-in to discharge was exemplary. All communication before, during and after the procedure was clear, thorough and delivered with sensitivity and empathy. The procedure itself was delivered calmly, kindly and caringly. Additionally, the earlier pre-op experience was done with great sensitivity and empathy. It never felt rushed. I was encouraged to ask questions and seek clarity or a broader explanation of anything of concern to me. It was made very clear that I could get back in touch with the department at any time if I thought of anything (the phone number was highlighted for me). The staff were very calm, clear and kind. When I am due the same procedure on my other eye I strongly suspect I will not feel the same anxiety as I did for this, the first time round. Thank you.

From the first 30 seconds we arrived to a&e our son was dealt with professionally and the care he received from every staff member was amazing and without this care and urgency showed we would of lost our 10 year old son.

During my 9 month pregnancy, delivery and postnatal period, I have received nothing but the most amazing care. From the community midwives and hcas at rsh to the triage and delivery team at prh, which includes the hcas, students, catering staff and volunteers, nothing was too much trouble and I felt they really listened to my needs and treated me like an individual. After having my first child during the pandemic and not having much contact with anyone in my care team I was afraid of what it would be like second time around, and it could not have been more different. I will be forever grateful for the nhs and especially sath maternity care for bringing both of my children into the world safely and especially for the care I have received so thank you, you should be very proud of every one of your incredible staff.

I went in after cutting my finger today that needed stitches. Was seen very quickly and the two guys that fix it were amazing. The kindness was amazing, as I had my four year old daughter with me as had no one to watch her. While I got sorted a very kind nurse sorted a screen out for my daughter. Putting on frozen for her and chatting with her. This just shows what wonderful people we have working in our NHS. I am so very thankful. These people have a busy and difficult job. And still give us a lovely, friendly and professional service. Many thanks 🙏

On holiday in Bridgnorth, got a chest infection, contacted 111 who booked me an appointment at the Princess Royal hospital for 1pm, I was seen by doctor at 1:15pm, full examination, excellent and amazing service, I am writing this review feeling a lot better thanks to the 111 service and the doctor, now that is an amazing service.

Triage nurses where a shambles, been here since 9pm no water facility's available. They spent most of the night chatting and laughing in initial assessment 1. The lady taking bloods and ecg needs to find an alternative job with her vile and rude attitude towards the patients. You get treated better if you was a animal I'd avoid this nhs if you want to remain healthy. Absolutely disgusting place
