It has been my misfortune to visit twice in the same year but on both occasions the staff and all the doctors and nurses have all been Fantastic couldn't do to much to help thank you all for your help and patience

First went to Ormskirk Hospital in Feb 2020 and have experienced extremely long delays in follow up appointments. Have had to continuously get in touch with the urology department to ask about follow ups. It’s coming up to 4 years and I still haven’t had my problem resolved. I have actually given up now.

Not happy, doctor was rude no respect to the patent .no sympathy from the doctor r even understanding of the patent.

I had an appointment with the gynaecology department and I just want to say how lovely the nurses were. They were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout

I had a consultation with a doctor at out patients about osteoporosis.He was. extremely helpful and thorough and explained everything in great detail. He was also very friendly and polite. .

The Ward was unable to accommodate my husband. He was left in severe pain. Communication was a concern. His catheter exploded. His Nurse call was trapped behind his bed. During handover no Nurses available. Pain relief was slow to administer. Theatre was delayed as the Ward had not completed the paperwork.

I would love to thank all of Ward E for my experience there this week. I have never met such amazing beautiful caring practitioners, sisters or nurses like these on Ward E. I had a surgical procedure and was in so much pain afterwards however they never left me alone and were by my side the whole way. They don’t realise how easy they made my stay there. Truly amazing people, you should be so proud of the work you all do!!!!

I went in today for an operation in my bladder. All the staff there very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much, they couldn’t do enough to help and make me feel comfortable.

During June 2023 my son fractured his ankle. My son has Autism. Our experience at Southport hospital during our two visits, and I include all staff, nurses, doctors, consultants, X Ray staff and porters was brilliant. Cool, calm, efficient and caring. An example to us all. Thanks. Ps I will say exactly the same for Ormskirk Urgent Care, Brilliant!!

Today I had my bloods taken. I am an extremely anxious person and suffering from peri menopausal symptoms along with a fear of the needle. Today, a lovely man took my bloods, I was last on the list. I already seen that he was helping out as the normal nurses were chokka bloc and going to be working past the allotted time of 11.30. He made me feel at ease, talked my daughter who was with me and just generally made the whole experience easy which at this point in my life is a massive deal! Thank you to him so so much, what a gentleman and an amazing advocate of the nhs. Thank you for today and turning what I envisioned to be traumatic just an easy going “thing”.
