  1. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Three monthly visits for Macular injections so far. Very prompt and caring staff despite it being obvious that they are vastly overstretched. I wish it was easier to contact the department (ophthalmology) and that communication and information was easier and more consistent.

  2. Review titled Patronising use of pet names

    by lynn.gater@btinternet.com - Posted on 19 February 2023

Despite my asking for it not to take place, staff persist in the use of names such as darling, dear, sweetheart when the patient has their name displayed by the bed. Having asked for it not to take place I was told I was passive aggressive so, clearly I have to put up with being patronised

  3. Review titled Poor experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Lynn Gater - Posted on 26 September 2023

In February this year, I was admitted to A&E following a fall. I found myself being admitted to Intensive Care and the fact that I was in pain due to degenerative disc disease appeared to be second to the fact that I would 'benefit' from attending the Memory Clinic! Today (26 September 2023) I received a phone call from an employee from the Memory Clinic questioning me to determine if I felt I wanted to follow this up. If I had received treatment regarding the reason for my request for help I would have felt that the NHS is providing an acceptable service but, 7 months later, I am still in pain and on 13 Oct 2023 I have an appointment with regard to the actual reason for my need. It's no wonder I am feeling stressed!

  4. Review titled Needles

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mr Alan H Audley - Posted on 26 January 2023

Nurse had to put a needle in my arm in order to inject a dye for my scan. I appreciate this needle is larger than one used to take a blood sample. It took three different nurses to get the needle in. I have never had a problem in the past. perhaps my veins are not so easy to find now that i am older. All nurses very apolagetic. No worries just I thought I would let you know xxx

  5. Review titled Good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Very clean, clear signage and found all staff very friendly and helpful. Kept informed of delay situation with the consultant. Better than sitting there not knowing what was happening. Overall a good experience

  6. Review titled Stafford Breast Screening Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was asked to return after a mammogram screening quickly and was seen by very efficient and friendly staff who (at each stage of checking) re-assured me and informed me of what to expect. Many thanks to all the Staff in the Stafford Breast Screening Unit.
