Hello, We are sorry to hear about your wait for the paramedics to come to your dad. Your review is for North West Ambulance Service and not Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as we do not manage the paramedics/ambulances. We hope that your dad is comfortable and receiving treatment. We would advise that you contact the following to discuss your dad's care episode: Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board for GP care and North West Ambulance Service for the paramedics. Review titled Staff attitudes
Rated 4 stars out of 5

When attending AE department with my son in law the receptionist didn't greet us, waited for us ask what information she required. Throughout our interactions she was chewing gum with her mouth open and her hair was over her face and not tied up off her collar as per uniform policy. As the first point of contact for us and all patients attending the department she gave a very poor impression of the Trust. Fortunately the clinical staff were all friendly competent and professional. The receptionists attitude and behaviour reflects badly on the Trust.

Review titled Superb Treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Pete L - Posted on 18 July 2023
This morning I had a nerve block procedure on my spine at Halton Hospital Nightingale Suite. From entering the dept at 8am to leaving at 10.15am has been a fantastic experience. All the nurses and staff were excellent, explained every aspect of the procedure in a calm & reassuring way, every question answered reassuringly. The procedure itself was quick & pain free, under the watchful eye of the Consultant. Recovery was swift and the tea & biscuits afterwards a welcome relief as I had been nil by mouth from the previous night. Thanks once again to you all at Halton, you were great 👌👏👏👏👍

Review titled Superb treatment for my husband
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Peter Winter - Posted on 22 March 2023
12 days ago my husband was admitted to Warrington Hospital with sepsis. The ambulance team who arrived in less than 15 minutes were excellent. They treated him in a calm professional, reassuring manner before taking him to the hospital where he received excellent attention in the high care unit and there was stabilised. The ambulance team came to check on him once he was settled. He had the best treatment. Subsequent care in hospital brought him quickly on the path to recovery and I cannot thank everyone enough for such quick and efficient treatment. Peter received the highest standard of care, thank you very much! He is continuing to improve at home.

Review titled Ultrasound department, Halton Hospital
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Patricia Nutton - Posted on 09 March 2023
I attended the ultrasound department at Halton Hospital on the afternoon of 22 February. I was seen on time. The 2 ultrasonographers described what was going to happen and I very much appreciated the effort they put into making me feel relaxed and comfortable.
