From start to finish the respite care my brother received at Ashton Manor has been absolutely exemplary. My brother suffers very badly with progressive MS & consequently has very complex needs. Thanks to the exceptional planning by the admin team which included a full paper assessment, an individual care passport & finally a home visit to properly assess his needs prior to admission, we felt very reassured that all his needs would be met. We were not disappointed. On admission day he was given a lovely welcome & every member of staff on the "Tree Tops floor" were up to speed with all of his needs. They have been truly wonderful throughout his entire stay. Due to his condition his speech is very poor especially when tired & also when communicating with strangers & our main concern was that he would not be able to make himself understood. We need not have worried. He was treated with the utmost kindness, patience, respect & dignity at all times by every single member of the team. We as a family felt included in his care & there was always a member of staff available for us to chat to. We cannot praise Ashton Manor too highly.
