Blue Skies were the carers assigned to my aunt by the council as she has significant dementia. They looked after her for more than a year and took on more as her care needs increase. I cannot say enough about how excellent this team are. They truly do care about the health, happiness and wellbeing of the people they look after. They were so kind and gentle when they were looking after my aunt, and always went the extra mile (or 10). Whether it was helping her with her daily personal care needs, taking her to appointments or to the shop, or even responding to calls when she had gone out and got lost and ended up in the pub down the road late at night. They made sure to give her her favourite foods, made sure she had everything she needed, chatted with her and provided real care instead of just the bare minimum. They even found someone local to look after her lawn for us. We live far away and it's an absolutely blessing to know that our aunt is safe and well looked after. And they are fantastic with communication. Her lead carer and I texted and spoke regularly so we knew when there was an issue and we were able to give her a heads up when people were visiting or something had happened. We never had to worry. I don't know where she finds the time, but her dedication is beyond compare. I honestly don't know what we would have done with our them and we thank them immensely for everything they have done.
