My mother has dementia and has been in this nursing home from April 2021 - and is there permanently. She moved in during Covid which wasn’t easy times for anyone. This care home did their best to keep in contact and I was eventually named as her essential carer and so was able to resume visiting her. The care home have looked after her extremely well - she’s now put on weight as she is eating so well now! They also have online zoom meetings once a month with any relatives who care to sign in and this has proven to be an excellent way of communicating with the home. The home also has many activities going on now that they can take part in - giving the different floors a chance to get together as well as the relatives being asked along too.
