I was very saddened to be greeted on visiting my uncle today by a small bedroom, stained, dirty carpets and no private toilet facilities , instead a commode was placed by his sink (without a lid) for him to sit and wash! Staff seemed quite pleasant but washing was left down by the side of his bed which included a very wet jumper from which i presume was water. I handed it to staff who placed it in the wash bag. instead of his name in his tops, they had put his room number in them! Slightly shocked to say the least. The home itself appears very rundown and could with updating - however the only positive was the home was nice and warm
