Care Companions Ltd. (C C L) is a relatively new care agency and so don't have a C-Q-C rating yet. Having phone interviewed several agencies in the Coventry area C C L seemed the best fit for my dad despite being new. I was very nervous because my dad is one of these obstinate old people who rejects help. However, much to my amazement, he took to the C C L carers straight away. This is a testament to their friendliness and professionalism. (I think having his back scrubbed in the shower and dried after was the clincher - something he has not been able to do for years!) We are only one month in, but things are going very smoothly. C C L are punctual, professional, very kind, understanding and friendly. I should also say what a difference they made to me (I live 90 minutes away). The pressure C C L have relieved for me and the whole family (who all live remotely) is immense. Knowing that C C L are visiting regularly and are at hand if an unexpected need arises has really taken the pressure off. I have developed a deep trust in them. So far, there is nothing negative or even things I can think they could improve. Long may this continue.

First time in leaving Dad in the hands of a carer, very anxious until we met one of the lady carers at Dads house where she was very accommodating, listened to Dads questions, preferences with any information she was unsure of asked, so that a smooth care plan could be put in place during the week I was away. During that week I was sent requested updates, Dad was extremely happy with the relationship he had built, faces become familiar in particular with one girl. Nothing was too much trouble, including going shopping for him! Will 100% use again, they looked after Dad, how I would look after Dad, if not better. Has given me the confidence to book another holiday!

My Father has been receiving care from Care & Companions for 3 months now, although his condition has deteriorated, his care hasn’t. The carers are so very caring and understanding of my Dad’s needs, they communicate well and encourage his personal well being. Dad predominantly has visits from 2/3 carers which helps with his condition, one of which has gone above and beyond daily, continuously looking for ways to adapt Dads needs to suit him, which has improved his wellbeing. Notes are left by carers daily to prevent any further confusion & Dad has a genuine trust in them all. They make light of a hard situation.
