As someone who recently went blind and reduced mobility at a very young age after a stroke, the staff has been amazing at supporting me to adapt to my new reality. I was very apprehensive about having a stranger come in to help me, but I have a team of staff that come to support me and I have a unique connection with each one of them and they cover for each other when they go on holiday so it is always someone from the team coming to see me. My wife can read the notes they leave while she is at work as everything is done on an app,so she knows what was done and relieve the worry for her and she can see what I ate for my lunch as with the stroke I can sometimes forget what I had to eat and how much insulin I have injected to manage my diabetes.
