Do not employ this care company to care for your loved one. I never leave reviews but I feel it’s important to leave this review on behalf of my nan. Firstly none of them speak English which is a problem when basic communication is needed particularly when delivering personal care and just care in general. Even if you can’t speak English a smile goes a long way and the staff couldn’t even do this. They didn’t talk to my nan throughout the duration of the visit neither did they stay for even half their allocated time. My nan payed for two carers 4 times per day, one of her visits which was an hour long and the carers were seen on CCTV entering and leaving the building within 6 minutes. What care was delivered during this time definitely none that was quality. I am a carer myself working in the community and take my job seriously with passion and kindness. If you don’t want to be a carer then don’t be one. When we as a family raised our issues with office staff they would listen and say they would take note however never did change and even make any attempt to talk to my nan, engage with her or stay for there allocated time. I am deeply saddened that my Nan had this company even look after her for the two years she did as they are quite frankly diabolical. My nan has now gone into a care home and is thriving, no more sore lips and gets treated with kindness and respect, she really is glowing since EleanorCare do not see her.
