I am struck by the Model that is used at John Sturrock Nursing Home. It works. It's real life. It's secure and safe. Residents are free to live their life with as few restrictions as possible. There is help at hand at all times if needed or wanted. I visit my close family member weekly and together we have a choice of meal at a time that suits us, just as you would do in your own home. The residents have their own living accommodation which is Premier Inn standard. It's purpose built. The staff are hand picked, wonderful and caring, so professional according to my family member and I know that to be true from spending a lot of time there, ( From the domestics, to the chefs ,the gardener,the maintainance, the Nurses, Support Assistants and the Management). Thank You. There needs to be many more John Sturrocks!
