On Friday 19th July at approx 1600 I slipped at the 8th Green at Royal Troon whilst attending the Open I fractured my right leg in multiple places The care I received from all the Medics at Troon was exceptional , thank you all They attended within 10 mins of my fall and stayed with me whilst administering drugs and checking vitals for a full hour This was all done in full view of public and they could not have been more professional and at all times kept talking to me I was then transferred to Crosshouse hospital and was in A&E within 30 mins of arriving Everyone I came across in hospital was exceptional and kept me fully updated on my accident, prognosis and treatment that would follow Everyone in the ward kept me well communicated and ensured I was in as little pain as possible After my operation my Consultant )and entire medical team have ensured I have rehab plans and I’m very confident future care will be as good as it is currently I can’t praise all the medics at Troon highly enough and my consultant ) I would also like to mention all the award staff in floor 2 Orthapedics ( what a team of people you are, thank you )
