I just wanted to write and let you know how wonderful your short term intervention team have been. My Dad was in hospital for a few weeks with a UTI and when he came out of hospital we were given short term intervention care, he came home for 2 weeks and unfortunately got another UTI (which the carers picked up on during their morning call, they said Dad wasn’t right and too keep an eye on him), which we did but he had UTI sepsis so another stay in hospital. The care, support and advice provided not only to my Dad but to us as a family has been fantastic. They are friendly, approachable and very professional. The carers made a very big difference to us. They guided us through the use of the hoist, bed etc. The help to us has been invaluable.
