I received a letter from a doctor with inaccuracies, all I want to do is explain the mistake she has made but there is no email contact.

Review titled Utterly malicious staff

I'm shocked after my visit at the NHS Bath house of the extent of the staff's ignorance and rudeness. I was looking for an entry to the car park which could not be more complicated... I first arrived to the Clinic building and asked about the training I had booked, I was informed it takes place in the corporate building. I then asked whether I can leave my car parked there and learned that I can't so I asked how can I find the entrance to the car park which I saw was there, but there were no clear signs of how to enter it? I was told I have to get back to the main road and then take the first turn left. I repeated these instructions back and the receptionist confirmed they were correct without even looking at me, I clearly was nuisance for asking to many questions... I got back in my car and drove back to the main road, the first turn left would lead me to a private property, so would any other left turn until I got to a roundabout at which point I was completely confused because the receptionist never mentioned I should get that far. I drove back and forth a couple of time and didn't find the entrance to the car park as it simply wasn't there, so I decided to leave my car on the street and run to make it on time for my training. Because of the time it took me trying to find the car park following the misleading instructions from the receptionist, I arrived literally a couple of minutes to late for my training and was not allowed to participate in it anymore. After that, I continued trying to solve the mystery of how to get to the car park. I asked another person who explained that I need to get to a roundabout, then turn left, and then turn left again, commenting that it is very clear how to get (are you kidding me!?) So I drove there and eventually found the right place, so hopefully next time I'll be able to make it on time to my training. To summarize, if you respect your time and won't to avoid the same level of humiliation I have described above, don't expect the NHS Bath House staff to help with something as basic as how to find a car park - park on the street or come 30 minutes earlier to find your way around. I feel humiliated and absolutely disgusted about the way I was treated there today.

Hi there, apologies for the delay in responding, we did see your comment on NHS online and tried to respond but we had some technical difficulties so I am hoping this reaches you! I can only apologise on behalf of the team for the experience you have had and we will address this to ensure there is a consistent approach and clear guidance given to all future visitors so that this does not happen again. Staff should be giving out basic instructions to visitors who attempt to park in the non-parking area by mistake I.e. they are directed to the staff car park. We will arrange for typed instructions to be provided in the future which will address the problem. I hope this helps to resolve the matter for you and next time you visit HQ things go better for you. best wishes Jo Collins, DHof Patient and Carer Experience
