   People lost on the sea at night Search the dark for a guiding light And it’s the same with cancer, swept by a wave Of dark diagnosis, where’s the hope to be saved? When the advanced-level-four news seems to be bad Where’s that fragile glimmer of hope to be had? Overwhelmed and lost on the endless flood Fear flowing through you like ice in your blood If you’re lucky like me, you’ll find what you’re seeking In the kindness and care of the team at The Beacon They’ll guide you in, lift you up, help you to cope And supply that rarest commodity - hope. Every day I thank the dazzling team at The Beacon Centre for giving me back my hope.
