Review titled Excellent care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ann - Posted on 26 March 2025
On Friday 21st March 2025, following a cycling incident with a car, I attended Bodmin A&E to have my injuries checked. The receptionist was swift, efficient & friendly in taking my details & booking me in. I hadn’t even sat down & the Triage Nurse called me in. Checked my injuries, took history of incident & did BP/Pulse/Temp checks provided pain relief. So kind & efficient. The full thorough examination followed & again with care & kindness. I felt really cared for & was provide with advice & detailed information about what to expect & how to deal with injury to my ribs. I left the unit feeling extremely well care for, reassured and confident about dealing with the injuries. Thank you so much!

Review titled Poor administration
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Mark - Posted on 15 June 2023
I attended the Minor Injuries Unit on Tuesday 13th after checking opening times. I arrived to find a badly scribbled note on a screen say “closed, reopening on Wednesday at 11am. I attended again on Wednesday, arrived early and waited outside, one other person arrived, screen still in place. Fortunately someone who works at the hospital came out the main door and said the unit had moved to another building. Nothing on the door! I went to the new building, approximately 10:45 and booked, triaged fairly quickly although the triage person did not even remove the dressing on my leg to check the wound! I was seen at about 12:15. Please do not blame the nurses or doctors, this very poor administration.
