    I have visited Bolton One on a number of occasions for physiotherapy. I received a referral last year for my back and after 3 sessions was discharged because he was retiring and felt I was doing ok. The 2nd referral I received was in 2024, my 1st appointment was in May, and at my 2nd appointment in July I was told I was being discharged because there was nothing else they could show me or any other way of helping me other than handing me that 1 page of exercises to do at home. No follow ups or anything after that. My GP ended up doing a referral to Pain Management and I'm now on a wait list for that. It's as if they're discharging as fast as they can to keep their patient numbers up!

    I attended Bolton1 for a biomechanics appointment on 15/5/24 @ 9.15 am. After ‘booking in’ at reception @ 9.00 I waited until 9.40 then left. The centre is badly laid out with both unclear and badly handwritten signage. The staff are ignorant and unhelpful.

    I am waiting on MRI results which have been with my consultant at Bolton one for almost a month. He is on long term sick, I’ve chased daily to get them read by another consultant only to be put off by his secretary and her manager for a month.. I’m in agony and needing to know the results and next steps.. I’m exhausted chasing what would seem common sense, to get the results read by s A different consultant in the absence of my consultant and get things moving.. I’m losing the will to live and I am considering doing myself in as a result of lack of care from from the secretaries and managers who seem to be actively blocking my case..

    Had occasion to visit Bolton One Hand fracture clinic for the 2nd time today with my elderly relative where she received first class treatment in the form of a ' wax bath' and very clear understanding & patience from her Physio again. A fantastic, courteous and friendly experience all round. Department is definitely worth a visit

    I attended Bolton One for a Spirometry Test earlier today, the practitioner who carried out the procedure was superb, professional, friendly and explained everything prior to me undertaking the test, and continued to guide and support me during it. Really Top Quality Service, from our fabulous NHS staff.

    Always had 13 weekly appts but have had no contact from there service for a new appt since June time this year. I could not fault the service prior to this with appts coming out to me regularly and treatment being highly effective at preventing more serious consequences. I wonder if the service has stopped or if I have been removed from the treatment list. Whatever the reason I have had no communication so can not comment on a more recent occasion but will endeavour to find out what has happened.

    Had 2 appointments with Rheumatology, one by phone then decision made to see me a couple of weeks later. Saw a nurse who arranged an x Ray on my swollen finger with a view to having a steroid injection. Told her that I was on holiday from 6th June and not to arrange anything then. Guess what got an appointment for 6th June !! Phoned to change the appointment and given today 30th May. Arrived on time, taken in to see a registrar who told me he was not trained to inject fingers and no one on site to do it. Came away without an injection and as I am on holiday for 6 weeks have to suffer pain in a very sore joint. When are people who arrange appointments going to take note of holiday dates and check if the Doctor is in fact trained to carry out the procedure you are booked in for.

    I was sent for an x- ray at Bolton One today (12/4/23) just after noon. I wanted to message regarding the Radiographer, whom professionally, courteously and kindly attended to my chest x-ray. He was patient, even though I was not wearing appropriate clothing for a chest x-ray and I had numerous chains around my neck (I've not had an x- ready in years). I was also coughing profusely. I was so very grateful for his manner and attitude. He seemed genuinely concerned about me. I hope this message gets passed onto him and his managers for the great work.

    I went for a chest x-ray (20/1/2023) the lady who did the x-ray was very caring and explained everything each step of the way. Such a very pleasant experience made even better with the way she totally cared. Thank you so much. :)
