  1. Review titled Respiratory Nurses - Exceptional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Tracey MacHenry - Posted on 06 December 2022

My husband received telephone consultation from one of the Respiratory Nurses based at Bolton One. Unfortunately we didn't get her name, all I can say was it was such a refreshing change to say she listened, asked questions then let him know what to expect going forward to alleviate symptoms.

Dear Mrs MacHenry Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I was pleased to hear that you and your husband felt supported and reassured by the actions of our respiratory nurse. I will make sure that your comments are passed on to the member of staff concerned. I am sure she will be delighted to receive them. With best wishes Tracy Joynson, Patient Experience Manager

  2. Review titled Pain Clinic

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 December 2022

I waited six months for a pain clinic appointment, and whilst I appreciate who I saw and the pressure the NHS is under right now, I felt the appointment was somewhat rushed, and I didn’t really get an opportunity to explore my options or discuss medication etc. I was simply referred to physio when I have tried this already on several occasions and was told to buy a Tens Machine. Now asked my GP to refer me back to Rheumatology to see if I can get to the bottom of why I am in so much pain, which has progressively got worse four years after my osteoarthritis diagnosis.
