I recently participated in this test. Then got a letter to say I need further screening (colonoscopy). But before this I have to wait nearly two weeks for a telephone consultation with a complete stranger who’s knows absolutely nothing about my medical history. I do not have a colon as it was removed 10 years ago! This service should not be offered to those who have had extensive bowel surgery regardless of what they reason. I now have to wait worrying if I have cancer!!! I have my GP to deal with this as I simply can’t wait.

Had bowel test through the post...only problem was we no longer seem to get the paper catcher that one puts in between the toilet seat for ease of taking sample of poo...its difficult enough as it is without it...!!!!!
