Extremely sad that I didn't appear to fit in to the box . Left feeling that I am a problem and a nuisance despite being told that the care offered would be tailored to ' patient's need '.

Review titled Concerning

Whilst some staff were very kind there was far to much emphasis on family views and involvement. Whilst I understand this may be helpful to staff not every patient has a family that are very supportive and what might suit the family for complex reasons might not be helpful to the patient, in this case me, indeed could be detrimental to the patient. It left me with real concerns about the experience and wary of further appointments.

Review titled Poor service

Almost impossible to make a diabetic clinic appointment, stupidly long waiting times then offered an appointment with less than seven days notice by App on a day on which I cannot due to work commitments. Then no telephone contact provided so can't actually phone to change. So next to useless

Review titled Everyone has always been been kind, helpful and informative
by taurusnb46 - Posted on 27 October 2023
I'm under the team at Newcastle Hospital Falls and Syncope and my care has always been amazing. My doctor always listens to my concerns and offers advice where appropriate. Nothing is too much bother and I never feel rushed in my appointments. Lately my care has been my phone calls and yet they manage to maintain the great same level of care I use to get face to face. Can't praise enough, everyone I have ever met/spoken too at the unit has always been been kind, helpful and informative. Great service.
