  1. Review titled Lack of care

Rated 2 stars out of 5

After being referred to Cavendish house by my GP and contacting Cavendish house I have yet to be triaged after two weeks of waiting. Just another example of how an underfunded sector just doesn’t care for the patient. Deplorable.

  2. Review titled Re prescriptions - poor service.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have to be honest, Cavendish house seem to think it perfectly acceptable that patients can go without their medication for any length of time. Kind of a tough luck attitude. They make no effort whatsoever to ensure a regular stream between themselves and whatever pharmacy they send their prescriptions to. The patients constantly have to go back and forth for their mental health medications and Cav. House don't always answer/help - This delay does not help their state of mind. It is abysmal and needs sorting asap please.

  3. Review titled Wouldn't recommend using

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Rachel - Posted on 03 February 2023

Was classed as an urgent case, but had my appointment cancelled. When I requested for the doctor to call me, his secretary got very rude and said he is unable to call. (I was requesting a call back, when he is available). I had a prescription that was meant to be sent to a pharmacy from here, but the pharmacy never recieved it. When I called Cavadish house to chase, the secretary got very rude again and said to try the pharmacy. It is a constant back and forth. The doctor I am dealing with is wonderful and very helpful. He is understanding and listens. I would defiently recommend him.

Cancelled appointment to see dr within 15mins of being due to see a dr. When you try call them all you get is ringing out no one to speak to . They don’t really care about the patients suffering with mental health.

  5. Review titled An Essential Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Most people struggle to talk about their mental health including me, but I really felt the need to express how important it is to reach out. I had an appointment at Cavendish House and from the moment I reached out I was treated with kindness, respect and complete understanding. The Psychiatrist I saw, who is now supporting me, was the best I have ever seen. His knowledge, his compassion, his approach to all I am going through blew me away. Not only did he listen, he heard me, in a way others have not, in the past (no disrespect to other psychiatrists). In fact there were moments when I never had to say a word because he knew exactly what my thoughts were. I felt completely safe and able to express myself and for the first time I felt no shame. I live with Bipolar and have never been open about it, I saw it as a label I never wanted and hid away because of it. I finally feel I am getting the help I need. So I encourage anyone to reach out. Lastly I would like to say how very grateful I am to Cavendish House and my Psychiatrist.
