  1. Review titled Appointment

My assessment was a phone call from out of the blue after a GP urgent referral. No mention of assessment which one woud hope had a formal procedure not a chat. 2 weeks later I still have no treatment response or anything else. Yesterday a duty worker told me I’m being ‘triaged’. In the meantime my life has been upside down. Life changing. I could have been helped but I am left in limbo. .

  2. Review titled Finally found a listener and communicator

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am 61 years old and for at least 25 years really struggled to find someone to understand my Depression, Anxiety and Anger management. Fortunately I found someone here (Clinical Psychologist) who really got me, truly understood going over and beyond my expectations. The loyalty and dedication to help me and my family from this individual has restored some faith in the Mental health system. Extremely thorough in all our meetings and has given me so many skills and tools to face the world from a different angle. Being extremely patient kind and above all flexible, We cant name names or I would but what a fantastic ambassador for NHS Adult CMHT Chatterton House.

Spent an hour talking to a member of the crisis team, and walked away feeling utterly let down. I was asked pointless questions about my past. I say pointless as I mentioned abuse as a child, but this was glossed over as irrelevant to my current mental health issues. If it's that irrelevant, why bother to ask the questions?? I just feel that my appointment was so someone in an office somewhere can claim their bonus for "helping" another patient. Apparently, because I haven't acted on my "dark thoughts" and I don't "have a plan" they won't help me. It's a good job people never act instinctively in the moment. These people are less than helpful.

  4. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

I got a referral from someone at my GP to Chatterton house. I went reluctantly only to be questioned about my diagnosis of 10years and then the nurse went on to suggest i had Autism or Adhd instead. This was humiliating and completely baseless. Then the nurse effectively left it there. I had to ask at the end of the appointment for the nurse to address the actual reasons i was there (i wanted a medicine review). That was on 7th Dec. Still haven't heard back. So a nurse can question 5+ doctors on my diagnosis but can't arrange a call back. Bravo, never using this "service" again. Shameful.
