    Was referred yo CHEC after my optician referred me. After having a consultation at CHEC at ilford Hill, two weeks later I'm having surgery. Fingers crossed it is successful but am so pleased how it has gone so far. This is how the NHS should be. Thank you to all the staff there.

    I had an endoscopy at the Ilford building and just wanted to say a big Thank You and to say how well looked after I was. The team were all amazing. I could not fault anyone, they put me at ease, reassured me and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I am someone who suffers with anxiety and was so nervous about the appointment so I couldn't be any more grateful for the way I was treated. They really are incredible people so would love for them to be recognised for the amazing care provided. Thanks team

    All the staff from Admission to Discharge, including all the staff in the Theatre , treated me with such care, patience and speed, that was beyond call of duty and something we rarely experience these days in the NHS. I would also add that any patients testimonial is less of a recognition of a doctor's and staff's professional expertise and more of a recommendation of their ability to listen, care and heal. I can vouch for this fact, that your abilities are unmatched and exceptional. Thank you. Normally, Doctors and staff are in hurry and busy, but you gave your sincere and undivided attention yesterday and I am truly grateful and thankful to you for the treatment.     My honest review of this hospital. I've been to the Ilford branch a few times recently with my grandparent. It wasn't a great experience. The management I've seen was really harsh to the staff, and they seemed overworked and overwhelmed. The nurses looked like they had a lot on their plates running around whilst getting spoken to like dirt. They definitely need more staff working and a healthier positive environment. It’s awkward seeing staff treated badly in that way especially being with my grandparent. How can I trust the management will be kind to them if I’m not there? I heard other patients saying staff smoke in hospital uniforms outside, which is shocking due to cross-contamination risks. It's frustrating that there's no direct parking, only the faraway Exchange Car Park. On the bright side, waiting times in Ilford are quick, which is a plus and the building in my experience is very clean.
