I had a nurse appointment on 11th April 2024. I was seen promptly, the nurse was friendly and took my blood very gently. I’d be happy to recommend Cheetham Hill to my family and friends.

I had an IUD inserted at this clinic in August 2022. I was very nervous to have this procedure done as I had heard that it is extremely painful and all the women I know who have had an IUD inserted had a traumatic experience. The two women who completed my procedure put me at ease right away by giving me all the information I needed and showed me an example of what the IUD looks and feels like. They offered local anaesthetic for the procedure, which I've since realised is very rare to be offered, so I really appreciate the care taken to ensure it was as pain-free as possible. They were caring and compassionate and made sure I was aware that they would stop if it became too painful or I changed my mind. I was also offered an STD test and a discussion regarding domestic abuse which resulted in a referral to a domestic abuse charity for more support. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend to any woman considering IUD insertion. Thank you!
