I am feeling quite disappointed as, once again, it seems that my concerns, as a mother, were not fully listened to. I don't agree with the doctor's final decision and requested a second opinion, which unfortunately I haven't been granted the right to. Despite reaching out to a third party for an opinion, the doctor has chosen to ignore this. At this point, I am feeling very frustrated and uncertain about how to proceed.

We have been on the waiting list at Rotherham CDC for a year, we were told 7 months, we finally were given a non negotiable appointment time and date that we can’t make due to being on holiday for a wedding, we asked for literally any other time and date, we were then told in a rude and unempathetic manor that if we don’t attend this appointment we will back on the waiting list and nothing can be done, the receptionist refused to even look in to this and continued to disregard the situation even saying “are you cancelling then or what?” The only person suffering from this is our daughter who deserves better, we will be at a huge financial and personal loss if we attend this appointment but have been made feel like bad parents if we don’t. This is a stressful decision made all the more upsetting by the receptionist and her team leader’s attitude who was equally dismissive.
