I was supposed to be referred direct to the surgeon for right knee replacement but then Circle Management Care somehow got involved and I went through a question session with one of their staff on 15 Dec 2022. Subsequent to this I received a copy letter in which the Clinician stated that he would arrange an X-Ray of my knee and follow up the results with me. Since then I have heard nothing from Msk but today received a letter from Nottingham University Trust Queens Medical Centre questioning why I had not contacted them to book an X-Ray after a referral ! If this referral was from Msk why have they not told me, if not what are they doing about my problem ? It seems Msk involvement was unnecessary and is now causing problems and delays, All these extra tiers in the National Health Service should be abolished so that we have less chiefs and more people doing the actual work.
