Review titled Shoddy
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Tim Harvey - Posted on 14 June 2023
Arrived 5minutes late for a blood test, waited a minute or two for the receptionist; and was informed, when she showed, that I had missed my appointment. Hopefully I have no terminal illness.

Review titled Ridiculous

I've had several appointments for audiology, the consultant and audiologist was brilliant when you were able to see them , however several times I was sent to the wrong place , no receptionist, no one answers the phones , a staff member walked off , said he would be back in a minute, never returned, when was able to find someone to ask they said he went home , I have now been trying to contact them for several weeks and no-one picks up , contacted the appointment line ,they gave me the direct line but again no-one answered, I'm now very fed up, this is now 6 weeks I've been calling day after day

Review titled Opening times
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Think it would be helpful to put on your website that the xray dept is closed on the weekends. I checked online and it said opening hours 8am - 8pm and it said it wasn't too busy so I fight my way through sat afternoon traffic only to find it closed.

Review titled Good hard working staff if you can find the place
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Find it difficult to navigate to the hospital, as the post code on the website is pe3 6db, this takes you to a private housing estate with no way to get to the hospital, instead had to put in pe3 6gz into my satnav which takes you to st johns close and therefore to the hospital itself,

Review titled Terrible parking queue
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by J Tibbs - Posted on 01 March 2023
The queue for the city care car park stretched back to Thorpe Road. Car park full at both 11am and 2.30pm clearly not sufficient spaces as barrier not letting cars in as no spaces left. Amount of clinics for bloods e rays etc not compatible with parking capacity.

Review titled Good practice, bad parking!!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Stefan Polson - Posted on 23 March 2023
Fantastic services offered here, very patient helpful polite staff. But, if you need to go here then make sure you have a spare couple of hours and cash. You will queue to get into the small car park for a minimum of 50 minutes and as there is absolutely no other place to park you have no choice! It would help if the car park wasn't full of staff parking. 4 out 5 people I witnessed coming and going while sitting in the queue had nhs badges on and we're going in and out to work. For a car park that has about 80 spaces and more than 60 are used by staff, its a joke. Why make appts for patients if you can't park to get to that appt? Then when you've finally finished, unless you have cash, you can't pay for parking! What car park these days does not accept card payments or via an app, get with the times care centre management! And get staff to use local buses/taxis or park elsewhere. This needs sorting urgently. I witnessed very elderly sick people getting very stressed about being late for appts and then not having cash to pay, I paid for one patient who did not know what she was going to do to get her car out, she was nearly in tears, it's shocking. Great services, not great parking!!!

I was booked in for a blood test after work on Monday at 745pm, I called to check the time of appointment and a very helpful lady said that I could come in earlier if it was convenient. It was a very, swift, professional service, I was in and out withing 15mins and the results came back the next day. I would like to say thank you for the smooth, rapid service I received.

Review titled Caring, kind, professional
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Both workers were caring, kind and professional and went the extra mile to provide excellent service. During the course of my visit, something else was found and they looked into that as well even though they didn’t have to.
