No call backs when promised . Told by the case handler at 11.10am my overnight stay was not authorised when I was in my gown waiting for my 9.30am procedure . Forced to pay £240 for the room . No induction into room no menu for room service , ordered tea and biscuits via a nurse didn’t arrive , had to get out of bed to turn off the the lights and lower the blinds for the windows . Good job I wasn’t bed bound . Half an hour wait for a porter when discharged , the mattress buzzed every time I turned over , was told I was in high fall room and that was normal , kept me awake . Hanging long red string alarms all over the bathroom couldn’t get to the sink without hitting one . Had my procedure 1st May was told my follow up would be July , this is awful for private cover. Still waiting for my follow up appointment. Avoid at all costs .
