Got referred by my doctor to the gynae department in December. It took 6 months to get a blood test to check for hormone levels. Nobody called me back to let me know my results were in. I don't live near the clinic so couldn't just pop-in to check. The number listed on the internet for this clinic does not connect. Had to basically become a detective to get their phone number and when I called they were like Oh, yes you're results are in. The best we can do is offer you an appointment in a months time. So now 7 months and counting in order to get the results of a blood test.

I had an appointment over 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for a letter to my GP authorizing a prescription which I am in desperate need of. The GP have recommended I phone the Comely Bank Health Centre to find out where the letter is but after over a week of trying every single day I cannot get through on the phone. Is there a problem with the administration in this clinic? I am at my wits end and don't know what else to do other than turn up in person!
