Thank you NHS for a prompt, professional service. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Given the pressure everyone is under, we were amazed by the time given to us. Many thanks.

Review titled Excellent care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anita Jones - Posted on 17 October 2023
I became unwell on the first day of our holiday. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The wait for triage was much shorter than expected and the doctor I saw was quick to understand the problem and very reassuring. I was given a prescription quickly and left feeling much more positive. Thank heavens for the NHS providing this facility.

We attended the walk in centre whilst staying with family in Coventry. My daughter had become unwell and we had an appointment made through 111 phone service. Everyone we encountered was incredibly helpful and courteous. The doctor we saw was very pleasant despite being at the end of a night shift. We were seen very promptly and given excellent treatment. I honestly can't praise them highly enough.

Review titled Kept me waiting and then lost my bloods!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jen - Posted on 13 June 2023
I arrived for a gestational diabetes blood test. I had been fasting at this point for 9hrs in preparation for this test. I was then kept waiting for a further 40 minutes before my first bloods were taken. Its then an additional two hours of waiting before I can eat. It was almost 12pm before I was allowed to leave and eat...should have been out of there for 11! You added an extra hour of fasting unnecessarily to a pregnant person in the heat. They then lost this test and never sent it to my midwife meaning I now have to repeat the whole experience. To top it off the blood forms that I gave them were also lost so repeat bloods have also had to be taken. Thanks a lot. Have insisted that I am not referred here again for the second test. Would avoid this place at all costs.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Walked in after being unable to see own GP, even though they had asked me to call if my problem got worse. Walk -in receptionist was polite and friendly. Triaged quickly by very professional individual. Seen by Doctor within an hour. Very professional and thorough. He arranged an emergency appointment with hospital for the nextday. Also the waiting area was clean and tidy.

Review titled Awful place
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Cheryl Edwards - Posted on 20 March 2023
I visited the walk in centre on the 15th March hours after having surgery. After being told to go down there by the 111 service. I was extremely worried about what I needed to speak to a doctor about as I had had surgery the very same day, plus it cost me £10 in a taxi to get there. The man behind the reception desk was rude, and unhelpful. I told him I had had surgery that day and I was very worried. His answer 'go to a&e. With a smile on hid face, after a few words and me asking why he was smiling he shouted at me 'go and make a complaint' It was very upsetting. So it then cost me another £10 to get to a&e And that place was absolutely rammed. People who work in the care sector even the receptionists should be kind, caring and understanding. Not half bothered rude people who seem to get paid for doing nothing? Awful place. Awful reception team.

Review titled Poor patient care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Bhadradavi Induchoodan - Posted on 06 March 2023
I sought medical attention for severe ear pain during the operating hours of a walk-in center. However, I was informed that they were unable to accommodate me without any inquiry about my condition. Consequently, I had to resort to seeking treatment at the emergency department. The lack of attention and care provided was disappointing, and I would have appreciated if the healthcare professionals had at least asked about my situation and offered guidance if they were unable to admit me. Empathy in such situations can go a long way in improving the patient's experience.

Review titled reception requires customer service

the initial experience of being there is so off-putting, you feel comfortable and guilty just turning up - one of the receptionists today was so unfeeling, and rude even from the registration process .

Review titled Poor Attitude
Rated 1 star out of 5

I attended with my daughter 9pm who was very unwell. I had tried my GP, NHS111 and had no luck, we went to the walk in centre to be told rudely by the receptionist that they were not seeing children after 9pm as it’s unlikely they would be seen and to come back tomorrow. I said she was really sick and the receptionist continued to drink her tea and chat to the other receptionists! We went to A&E where my daughter was diagnosed with a condition that if left untreated could have caused brain damage! Kindness goes a long way
