Review titled Feel abandoned
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Lee Emberson - Posted on 25 May 2023
I've been through hell the last few months and trying to get help through first response has been awful. I eventually received an assessment at home and was told to wait for some help once the referral could me made. Several weeks later and still no contact so I had to reach out for private help. My GP has been dismayed by inability to get through to First Response for help for me from Ihtt. Shr now tells me that CMHT have met and closed my case due to my receiving private help. They didn't even have the decency to call or send me a copy of thr letter. I have been waiting and they've just cancelled my help. This whole experience has been sold destroying and traumatic. If it hadn't been for my husband and go I don't feel I would vd here today. First response, CMHT, Ihtt and all the other so called agencies are not fit for purpose and failing in their duty of care. It's appalling. Lives will be lost.
