  1. Review titled The absolute worst

Appointments that you wait at least half a year for get cancelled the day before. Can go a full year without seeing anyone. Get swapped between people who don’t know you so you have to re-explain every time. Refuse to listen to what you talk about/your GP suggestions and decide to focus on their own idea whether it’s relevant or not. Won’t even consider diagnosis or referral onwards. Do not check past records. Do not take into account prior prescription experiences. Incredibly rude staff who ignore you or snap at you for showing up. If this is where you get sent for help, you’d be gone before they even bothered to find out you existed.

  2. Review titled Waste of time

Rated 1 star out of 5

I last had an appointment in September 2022 I explained I wasn’t taking my medication and they never questioned it I was very vulnerable, they sent me my next appointment for march 2023. Over December I rang numerous times as I was struggling, (finally got to speak to on duty mental health nurse who told Me to start taking my medication, to then be told after restarting it over the weekend that I need to stop it as I can’t just restart it) then into January and February I again contacted them over 7 times begging them to see me sooner, by the end of February my mental health was extemely bad, I repeatedly rang them asking for help or my appointment being brought forward, no one ever got back to me. They was aware I was a mum to 3 young children and was very vulnerable I am diagnosed with bipolar and after months of a manic episode my moods went extremely low and I was beginning to experience symptoms of psychosis. I explained to them numerous times, I wasn’t sleeping, wasn’t eating, was seeing and hearing things and was really struggling. One morning in February I struggled to speak to anyone from Cromwell house and was rushed to hospital after a breakdown and extreme low moods and suicidal thoughts. I feel all of this could have been prevented if they had listened to me and offered me an appointment. due to the neglect from Cromwell house I feel I’m back to square one (still no medication as the process is taking 3 weeks to do the tests and prescribe my medication) If it wasn’t for the other mental health services I would not of got through these last couple of weeks. I feel let down and failed and am at risk of losing my children because I need to be medicated and stable. Everytime I have contacted them to chase my medication up I always get the same response, “the system is down”

  3. Review titled Very poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Some of the examples: 1) I had a care coordinator, who we would agree on the things to be completed with, that would never get done. Then they just left the job having not done any of things we agreed they'd do two months prior. New care coordinator was never arranged. Now I have found out that even though they refused to help me with my accommodation situation claiming they couldn't do anything, they actually could and should have helped me as I am asked for the information a care coordinator normally provides. 2) I went to the appointment to discuss a number of significant issues including medication only to find out it had been cancelled. Not only had I not been informed but also my care had been transferred to a different team where my appointment is in 5 months time. Leaving me quite vulnerable and without proper care. There are significantly more examples but these should justify my review well enough.
