Having never been here before or needed treatment like this before I was nervous about what was going to happen, but at every step the very patient and kind staff were amazing, explaining everything and answering all my questions in a way that made sure I understood what was needing to be done. I can not thank or praise the wonderful staff there enough.

My Father requires hospital transport. The hospital transport needs notice of 2 days. The appointment came quickly enough, but due to a lack of notice, I who read and act upon my Father's mail on his behalf only got the notification 2 days (on a Saturday) before the appointment. Hospital transport do not operate on weekends. My Father had only received the letter the Friday before the Monday operation. Also you can only use the appointment line M-F 0830 to 1700 which does not work, I had to google the number for the reception of the place he was going to. Please can you provide notice of more than a few days and keep in mind that other people have to arrange things to accommodate these appointments. I am quite frankly sick of hearing about how long your calls are or how much it costs the NHS for missed appointments. You the NHS are causing the problem and it is your fault that my Father has missed his appointment today. I would suggest at least a week and here is a radical thought, notify relatives as well as just the patient!

The new premises and parking arrangements are excellent, the waiting time was negligible, the consultant urologist combines impressive clinical credentials with exemplary social skills and - huge surprise - the receptionists were attentive and well-mannered!
