  1. Review titled Great experience while on vacation

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jane E. Herman - Posted on 05 September 2024

While visiting Oxford on vacation from New York City, I was felled by a bad stomach virus. Not only was my sister able to get me an appointment on a bank holiday, but I received medication and, perhaps more importantly, reassurance that although I was miserable, nothing was seriously amiss. We will always be indebted to the NHS in Oxford for the treatment, medication, and reassurance—all provided at no cost. Thank you. Our country can learn a lot from your health system.

  2. Review titled Incredibly Rude Doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 September 2023

I went in for GP out of hours and encountered the rudest doctor ever. This doctor refused to explain his medical jargon when I asked for clarity and insisted on being condescending—overall, it was a terrible experience. Do not come here if you have a choice.

  3. Review titled Continue to cancel appointments the day before

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 March 2023

My mum has dementia and on three occasions, for two different clinics, her appointment has been cancelled the day before. She lives in Chipping Norton and getting to East Oxford Health Centre causes her a lot of distress. When I try to make another appointment the staff can't see the clinics' calendars and can only offer appointments in Bicester or Banbury weeks later... It is very strange and I am not sure why she keeps getting referred to this health centre and then the appointment is cancelled, this is causing my mum a lot of distress and is costing me annual leave.
