After being referred by the GP to see a physiotherapist I had to wait 3 weeks for a phone call, At first I was asked why did I refer myself, stated the GP had referred me, I was informed that they need to ask a lot of questions and would take 20 minutes, I explain what issues I had with my knee from day one. I informed them again the GP referred me after the X Ray with results. Which they must have a copy, they explained the report to me I was then informed I needed some exercise and would send them in the post, must have sounded unhappy because I was then offered face to face appointment , but told there would be no follow up appointment, I felt disgusted with this comment about no follow up, how can they make an assessment over the phone. I said I would end the conversation, because it was a waste of time, I have experienced the similar treatment from Physiotherapist before, they don’t want to put hands on patients , might as well look it up on Google
