For the first time in 2 years had a problem with requesting my repeat medication . I called Dispensary and had an Extremely unhelpful, abrupt and rude member of dispensary staff on the phone . Did not want to listen to what I was trying to ask . So unhelpful and left a patient that suffers from her Mental Health not knowing when her medication will be ready , and feeling highly anxious and upset . Great service .

this surgery is truly terrible. you will have more chance of winning the lottery than getting an appointment. The system is highly inefficient and there are clearly not enough doctors to cope with the increasing number of patients.

I attended the surgery today for an important appointment for a smear test. The self check screen was not working so I waited in the long line for reception. While standing there I had a text message saying I did not attend my appointment. The nurse refused to see me and no one else could. I am under the hospital for an abnormal previous smear test and this was my follow up. This appointment was due a year ago and due to pregnancy I was unable to have this. I saw a doctors weeks ago who said I needed it 2 weeks after I'd seen her. However when you try to book in the time scale doctors give you , the receptionists give you an appointment weeks and weeks later against docters advice id been given. I've been very anxious to attend this appointment and had to force myself through the doors today. The nurse refused to see me. I explained how hard it was for me to attend this appointment giving how upset the whole process was from my first smear test and I'd been under the hospital. I said I'd be happy to wait until anyone may be able to see me today now that id actually made it through those doors. Hundreds of women die every year because they do not turn up to smear tests that could prevent cancer from the early stages. The amount of women that struggle to walk through those doors through fear of smear tests is huge yet a trained nurse has complete lack of empathy to consider how that made someone feel today. I will not be returning and I will be taking this further. I left to walk out crying with my young baby and no one tried to check if I was okay. I can see why so many women decide to take their chance by not having their smear tests when facing all of this to have one.
