    Absolutely abysmal service! I am a new patient here, I wish I'd not bothered registering. The reception staff are horrible. I get palpitations just waiting for them to answer my call. You can try to call at 08:30am each morning to obtain an appointment but no chance whatsoever. Each time I have called, I receive the same response. I must go to the walk-in centre. It doesn't matter for what reason you call, it all boils down to you going there. They answer in the most abrupt manner and then proceed to speak over you constantly. Its so infuriating, they clearly are inept and have no idea how to communicate with patients. I feel like a hinderance to this practice. Despite emails to the practice manager, nothing changes.

    My baby was born in Dec 2023, the practice admitted to forgetting to invite us for his 8 weeks immunisations & post birth check. I had to ask around 6 times to get this appointment booked. The practice then wanted to book this 8 week appointment at 12 weeks which I declined. After further stress and unnecessary calls and visits to the practice they booked us in at 9 weeks for immunisations only. Post birth 6-8 week check appointment could apparently not be offered until over 3 months old due to no appointments. Having had that appointment 7.5 weeks overdue we were told there were concerns and an urgent referral has had to be made to the specialist at Sheffield Children's. When I asked the GP practice if there was any support they could give in ensuring I received an appointment ASAP given they had already delayed us by 7.5 weeks I wad told by a receptionist "once the referral has gone it's sort of nothing to do with us anymore"...wow. Due to the GP clearly not keeping on top of patients pathways we have waited longer than we should have to be told there is an urgent problem. The ICB will also be being notified about this atrocious practice. Whilst trying to get suitable appointments organised for my baby I was made to feel like I was a nuisance by the admin team at the practice. They also never followed up on promises to 'chase with the nurses'. Shocking all round. Will be moving my baby to another GP in the very near future as I don't trust them to provide adequate care.
