I contacted the practice this morning at 08:00am to ask for a appointment because my sick-note has expired. I require a new one issuing for Universal Credit proof, as this will affect my life. I have attended a self referral physio appointment and they have extended another 4-weeks. Hence the contact to Geoffrey Street clinic, I was informed that I did not need an appointment and that I would be contacted. I know from previous appointment that this takes no more than 5mins to do this task. However I phoned at dinner time to enquire on an update I was then informed that would be later this afternoon. I phoned again at 15:00 and was told the doctor is in with a patient and my msg would be forwarded. I explained it would have been more efficient for me to have an appointment to cut all this time wasting, I need the sick-note to upload to universal credit to show proof or other wise my money could be stopped. I explained.. its now 15:27pm and i'm still waiting for a msg to say sicknote is ready to collect. I now have 1hr and 30 mins to upload this document before they close.
